Manager of Data Analytics | Hybrid (Atlanta, GA) | $150,000 – $185,000

We are partnering with a nationally recognized law firm seeking a Manager of Data Analytics to lead the development and execution of firmwide data strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll oversee analytics initiatives across finance, operations, marketing, and practice groups, enabling data-driven decision‑making in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analytics Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics roadmap aligned with firm strategy, business objectives, and client service excellence.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts and BI professionals, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting: Oversee the design and delivery of dashboards, KPIs, and automated reporting solutions supporting executive leadership, partners, and administrative departments.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Establish and maintain data governance standards, ensuring accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance across all systems.
  • Financial & Practice Analytics: Partner with finance and practice group leaders to deliver insights on profitability, matter performance, pricing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Technology & Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT to optimize data architecture, warehouse solutions, and integrations across practice management, CRM, HRIS, and financial systems.
  • Advanced Analytics: Drive predictive modeling, trend analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic growth, client development, and operational efficiency.

    Collaboration:

    Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders, including firm leadership and partners.
  • Compliance &

    Risk Management:

    Ensure analytics processes adhere to legal industry regulations, data privacy standards, and client confidentiality requirements.
Key

Skills:

Required:
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data management roles.
  • 3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience working with data warehouses and ETL processes.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets.
  • Experience supporting financial analysis, budgeting, or profitability reporting.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, client‑driven professional services environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience in a law firm or other professional services organization.
  • Familiarity with legal practice management and financial systems (e.g., Elite 3E, Aderant, or similar).
  • Experience with predictive analytics or data science methodologies.
  • Exposure to data visualization best practices and executive dashboard design.
  • Knowledge of pricing analytics and matter profitability modeling.
  • Experience leading enterprise‑wide data transformation initiatives.
