Overview

The Information Technology Manager role is responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all IT-related functions at the Atlanta CNN property and the Atlanta Battery property. This includes, but is not limited to, directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements, supporting and maintaining existing applications, and developing new technical solutions. Ensures the smooth functioning of all computer and network systems that enhance service and value for hotel guests and associates while strengthening productivity and profitability for Omni Hotel & Resorts.

In addition, responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software, and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling associates and vendors. This hands‑on leadership role requires deep knowledge of information technology/infrastructure, application development, security, and compliance.

This position is an on‑site role at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park with 25‑50% travel to the Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta.

Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support on all computer systems in the hotel. Installs computer hardware and software and maintains the latest service pack versions. Ensures proper operation of IT equipment while troubleshooting hardware or software issues.
  • Ensure that IT systems and controls are in place to comply with corporate policies and procedures, including PCI standards, backup policies, and other Corporate IT standards; perform audits, system maintenance, and security reviews.
  • Remains abreast of changes in user, system software, and hardware requirements.
  • Where applicable, leads and engages the local IT team toward success.
  • Troubleshoot network and system problems; perform diagnosis on system problems, recommend and implement solutions, or draw upon other resources and/or vendors to resolve.
  • Train users on the proper use and maintenance of the system, including conducting training and retraining sessions with hotel associates.
  • Coordinate installation of new systems and equipment and assist in any corporate programs or initiatives, which may include beta testing.
  • Provide on‑site assistance with company‑issued phones and be a liaison between Telecom Providers, ensuring all phones are issued per company policy.
  • Assist with telephone moves, add and changes.
  • Complete work assigned by the Omni Hotels & Resorts Service Desk in a timely manner; prioritize and elevate issues as needed.
  • Install new servers or rebuild existing ones and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
