Position Summary

The Ron Clark Academy (RCA) is seeking a Senior E-Commerce Specialist with advanced Shopify expertise to lead our e-commerce and digital web presence for the RCA Store. This role is central to expanding RCA’s reach, managing digital product launches, and driving revenue growth across retail, digital, and wholesale channels.

This is an individual contributor role, and you will be the person directly building, updating, and optimizing RCA’s Shopify stores and web pages day‑to‑day.

With a growing audience of educators, schools, and supporters worldwide, the Senior E-Commerce Specialist will ensure RCA’s merchandise website and online stores are functional, data‑driven, and aligned with our mission. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with strong design sensibility to create seamless digital experiences that inspire and convert.

Key Responsibilities Website and E‑Commerce Management
  • Manage and optimize RCA’s Shopify stores, ensuring accurate product listings, collections, pricing, inventory syncing, and promotions.
  • Oversee daily store website operations, including product launches, updates, landing pages, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Maintain store site performance, speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Implement and manage Shopify apps, integrations, and custom functionality as needed.
  • Proactively troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with developers or vendors when necessary.
Digital Strategy and Conversion Optimization
  • Drive measurable growth in online traffic, engagement, and conversion rates through targeted strategy and experimentation.
  • Analyze user behavior and sales data using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and related tools to guide decisions.
  • Run A/B tests on product pages, navigation, and checkout flows to improve conversion rate and average order value.
  • Optimize site structure, SEO, and content to improve search visibility and discoverability.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives including email campaigns, paid ads, and social integrations.
Brand Integrity and Content Management
  • Ensure all store website content reflects RCA’s brand standards, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with RCA’s creative team to develop engaging web graphics, banners, and multimedia content.
  • Maintain consistent storytelling across product pages, event promotions, and House System content.
  • Support the visual identity of RCA’s eight Houses within the digital environment.
Customer Experience and Support
  • Optimize the end‑to‑end online customer journey, from product discovery through checkout and post‑purchase communication.
  • Monitor customer feedback, site issues, and support inquiries related to the website or online orders.
  • Implement improvements that reduce friction and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Support wholesale and custom order functionality, discount structures, and purchasing needs for schools and districts.
Integration, Data, and Operations
  • Ensure accurate integration between Shopify and inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and customer management systems.
  • Create and maintain reports on web performance, sales trends, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain data accuracy across products, customer records, and digital assets.
Project and Event Support
  • Build and manage event‑specific landing pages and product collections for major RCA initiatives such as educator trainings, the Global Amazing Shake, House Con, and House Mania.
  • Coordinate digital timelines for launches, promotions, and registration campaigns.
  • Align web initiatives with broader organizational goals and marketing strategies.
  • Partner with the RCA Warehouse team during peak launches to support production, shipping, and logistics coordination.
Candidate Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience managing Shopify stores and e‑commerce websites.
