The developer ensures that applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices in software development.

ResponsibilitiesEducational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience.
Required Experience
6+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience.
Degree & Experience Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in a university or higher education environment is preferred
- Familiarity with application security methodologies and service oriented architecture
Skills Preferred
- Managing websites using content management systems (e.g., Word Press)
- Understanding of usability best practices and accessibility standards (Title II)
- Extensive experience with PHP (specifically with Symfony framework), Python, and Java Script
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or other databases
- Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments, including terminal usage, bash scripting, SSH, and Apache configuration
