Baer is looking for multiple Software Engineers for a 12+ month project located in Atlanta, GA

Title: Software Engineers

Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA (Onsite 3 days/week)

Duration: 12 months

Rate: All-Inclusive

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Openings include Senior Managers and Principal Software Engineers who are senior individual contributors responsible for technical vision, architecture, and hands‑on delivery across data platforms, segmentation, and customer/commercial systems within a modern Product Operating Model.

These roles act as a technical leader and multiplier—designing scalable, cloud‑native systems, shaping data models and segmentation strategies, and enabling product teams to deliver personalization, analytics, and measurable business outcomes. The position partners closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate product vision into secure, reliable, and high‑performing solutions—without formal people management responsibility.

• Lead architecture and design of large‑scale, distributed systems across data and application layers.
• Build and maintain production‑grade software and data platforms; contribute directly to code.
• Define data modeling and segmentation strategies to support customer and commercial use cases.
• Drive engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, reliability, security, and performance).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX).
• Partner with product and business teams to deliver scalable, outcome‑driven solutions.
• Influence engineering practices and solve complex technical challenges across teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including large‑scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud‑native architectures, Dev Ops, and modern data platforms.
• Strong experience in data modeling, segmentation, and analytics/data engineering.
• Proven impact as a senior individual contributor on complex, cross‑team initiatives.
• Strong communication and ability to influence without authority.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, high‑impact environments.
