Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
OverviewSeeking hands-on mid to senior Data Engineers (ICs) to support a Big Data & Analytics team
. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting migration efforts into a modern cloud data platform (AWS/Snowflake), and enabling scalable data products for analytics and AI use cases.
- Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in AWS/Snowflake environments
- Support migration of data assets and applications into a centralized data platform
- Develop and manage data transformations using Python, SQL, and DBT
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines
- Collaborate with data platform, analytics, and business teams to deliver usable data products
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and support ongoing platform operations
- 3–8+ years of experience in data engineering (mid/senior IC level)
- Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse experience
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling
- Ability to work independently and execute with minimal oversight
- DBT experience
- Exposure to AI/ML or data platforms supporting analytics/AI use cases
- Experience in large-scale data migration or modernization efforts
