Cloud Architect

Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join the Cyient team and lead a new project in the Atlanta area. You will design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud architectures on AWS using microservices principles. You will also develop and deploy applications on AWS Gov Cloud (US), therefore all candidates must have direct experience with Gov Cloud.

This position is an on-site position in Norcross, GA. All candidates must be able to report daily to the office location and be either US Citizens or Green Card holders.

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud architectures on AWS using microservices principles.
• Proficiency in deploying applications on AWS Gov Cloud (US)
• Develop and enforce cloud governance policies and procedures
• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for automating the deployment and delivery of microservices-based applications.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops and infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, Clickhouse, Time series, etc.
• Lead the design and development of Java-based microservices, ensuring best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements in AWS environments, implementing IAM policies, encryption mechanisms, and network security controls.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of microservices-based applications, leveraging AWS services like Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and caching strategies.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for AWS environments using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and X-Ray to ensure high availability and reliability.

• 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud (US Gov Cloud) - required.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, Clickhouse, Time series, etc.
• Experience with implementing the transfer of streaming payloads from edge devices to IoT Core and from IoT Core to Kafka.
• Experience on data ingestion using MQTT broker, AWS Glue(ETL), Influx DB.
• Working knowledge of Amazon Sage Maker, Amazon Kinesis data analysis and Machine Learning
• Experience on Visualization tools like React Web etc.
• Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• Must be able to relocate or commute daily to Norcross, GA.
