Job Overview
Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer – Enterprise Finance Technology team. Drives data architecture, pipelines, and enterprise applications to support financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Compensation includes a base salary of $92,300.00 – $. The base salary may vary based on location and experience. Additional incentive programs may also apply.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, Informatica, and relational databases.
- Integrate enterprise financial applications with data warehouses, relational databases (Postgre
SQL, MySQL, SQL Server), and BI platforms. - Implement automated data quality checks, regression testing, validation frameworks, and anomaly monitoring.
- Plan, manage, and deliver small to medium‑sized projects end‑to‑end including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post‑implementation support.
- Support dashboard and reporting development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools; lead enhancements to improve financial processes.
- Leverage AI‑assisted tools (Claude, Git Hub Copilot, Snowflake Cortex, M365 Copilot) to accelerate development, validation, and analysis.
- Partner with finance and analytics teams to identify challenges, design data solutions, and recommend process, technology, and interface improvements.
- Stay current on emerging data technologies, AI/ML, CPM platform innovations, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members, contribute to Agile planning, and deliver on projects with minimal oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 4+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or enterprise analytics.
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering and enterprise analytics across multiple functional areas.
- Advanced SQL proficiency with experience in data integration tools such as MS SQL Developer, dbt, or Informatica.
- Strong experience with Snowflake data modeling, schemas, and storage techniques.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing scalable data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Snowflake).
- Proficiency with ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing concepts, and data orchestration tools.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Postgre
SQL) and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau). - Experience with data quality tools and application lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative).
- Demonstrated project management experience with complex system implementations.
- Experience with Git and AI‑related tools such as Git Hub Copilot and Snowflake Cortex.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn) for data transformation and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or Dagster.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native data platforms (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse).
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management best practices.
- Experience integrating external data sources and APIs into enterprise ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices for data engineering.
- Experience in Agile environments for sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Exposure to real‑time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis) is a plus.
