Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate software development and enterprise technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing software implementation initiatives, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and driving projects from planning through successful delivery. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills within fast-paced technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management activities for software development and IT implementation projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, infrastructure, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, project meetings, and status reporting
- Track project milestones and ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
- Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders
- Support SDLC processes and ensure alignment with project objectives and business requirements
- Maintain project documentation, reporting metrics, and project governance standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance project delivery efficiency
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Strong experience managing software development projects
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms
- PMP, Scrum Master, or related certification
- Experience with enterprise application implementations or system integrations
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience working in large enterprise or consulting environments
- Vendor management experience
- Exposure to cloud-based applications and modern software platforms
- Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and application deployments
