Overview
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) is responsible for delivering a suite of payment services to financial institutions. The FNOC Sr. Analyst role supports the newly deployed Fed Now instant payment service as part of FRFS’s mission‑critical initiatives.
Shift & Location3rd shift (12:00am - 9:00am EST), Wednesday through Sunday. Hybrid schedule with specified on‑site days. Locations:
Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Seattle.
- Monitor and manage the Fed Now Service, performing critical operational activities.
- Work with partner stakeholder teams to mitigate risks and support participant onboarding.
- Execute ongoing operational tasks, identifying opportunities for process standardization and automation.
- Act as an escalation point for Level1 customer support, fulfilling customer requests.
- Provide expert guidance and technical support to clients and internal teams on all Fed Now‑related issues.
- Facilitate high‑pressure troubleshooting calls for production issues.
- Manage and document service requests escalated from Level1 support.
- Develop, maintain, and share comprehensive documentation for knowledge and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess functional needs, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions.
- Conduct training, mentor analysts, and deliver performance feedback.
- Support customer onboarding for new Fed Now customers.
- Monitor customer success metrics and KPIs.
- Work on internal risk and compliance inquiries related to audits.
- Perform backend operational tasks such as billing, accounting, and reconciliation.
- Assist with participant profile verifications, onboarding, and maintenance.
- Support internal tasks related to bank mergers and account closures within Fed Now.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 10+ years relevant experience.
- Experience working within 24/7 support operations for a large enterprise.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Initiative and innovation toward improving customer experience.
- Motivated, energetic, adaptable, intellectually curious, and growth‑oriented.
- Optional:
Familiarity with ISO
20022 messages, ITIL certification.
- Provide feedback in the hiring process and performance assessment of team members.
- Consult on and review publicly available Federal Reserve documentation.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset by identifying and providing feedback on efficiency opportunities.
