Cybersecurity Engineer

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or suspicious activities
• Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, SIEM tools, and intrusion detection systems
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
• Secure cloud environments, applications, and endpoints
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve system security
• Maintain compliance with security standards and regulations
• Create security reports and documentation

• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security
• Experience with cybersecurity tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk, or Crowd Strike
• Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows
• Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and access control
• Incident response and threat analysis skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
• CEH
• CompTIA Security+
• CISSP
• CISM

• Experience with SOC operations and SIEM platforms
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Power Shell
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST
