Our impressive client in Atlanta are seeking someone to lead end-to-end data architecture strategy and its execution across lakehouse, warehousing, governance, and semantic/ontology layers.

• Deep expertise designing and delivering modern data architectures (lakehouse, warehouse, integration, governance, and semantic layers)
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks for data lakes/lakehouse implementations
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server in production environments
• Experience defining and operationalizing data governance models, including ownership, stewardship, data quality, and metadata management
• Strong knowledge of data management frameworks and how to apply them pragmatically to delivery and operations
• Experience designing ontology‑based architectures to standardize meaning and enable semantic interoperability
• Experience with OWL, RDF, and SPARQL, including designing, querying, and maintaining semantic/knowledge graph assets

• Exposure to AI agents and AI‑driven data use cases, including architecture patterns that enable responsible model and agent consumption of governed data
• Experience delivering data platforms in regulated or compliance‑heavy environments (e.g., pharma, food tech, or similar)
• Experience scaling data platforms in small‑company settings, including managing petabyte‑scale data volumes with lean teams
• Experience supporting fintech or high‑volume startup environments where latency, reliability, and auditability are critical
