Position SummaryWe are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Director of Enterprise Applications to lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, and optimization of enterprise application platforms with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and emerging digital solutions. This leader will drive enterprise modernization initiatives, champion innovation, and align technology investments with business objectives to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem with strong leadership, strategic planning, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation experience. This role will oversee enterprise applications, AI enablement, automation initiatives, cloud modernization, and cross-functional technology delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the enterprise applications strategy aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead the architecture, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise platforms and business-critical applications.
- Oversee modernization of legacy systems using cloud-native and AI-enabled technologies.
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices for application lifecycle management, scalability, security, and performance.
- Serve as the enterprise leader for Microsoft technologies including:
- Microsoft 365
- Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Dynamics 365
- SharePoint Online
- Teams
- Fabric and Synapse Analytics
- Drive adoption of Microsoft AI and automation capabilities across business functions.
- Evaluate and implement emerging Microsoft technologies to improve productivity and innovation.
- Develop enterprise AI strategies leveraging Generative AI, Machine Learning, Copilot technologies, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics.
- Lead innovation programs focused on process optimization, workflow automation, and enhanced customer/employee experiences.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation and operational efficiencies.
- Establish AI governance, responsible AI standards, and data security practices.
- Lead enterprise-wide technology transformation programs and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into technology roadmaps and execution plans.
- Drive Agile and product-oriented delivery methodologies across application teams.
- Oversee vendor relationships, consulting partners, and managed service providers.
- Build and lead high-performing teams across enterprise applications, cloud engineering, AI enablement, and business systems.
- Mentor leaders and technical teams while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Manage budgets, resource planning, and portfolio prioritization for enterprise initiatives.
- Present technology strategies, roadmaps, and business cases to executive leadership.
- Ensure enterprise applications comply with cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and data governance teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
- Develop governance models for AI, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in enterprise applications, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture.
- 5+ years leading large enterprise application teams and strategic technology initiatives.
- Deep expertise across Microsoft enterprise platforms and Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience implementing AI, automation, and emerging technology solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integrations, APIs, cloud modernization, and SaaS ecosystems.
- Experience managing enterprise portfolios, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Master’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AI Engineer, Power Platform, Security, or Enterprise Administrator).
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms, Copilot implementations, or AI governance initiatives.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops, Agile delivery frameworks, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with data platforms, analytics, and intelligent automation technologies.
