Job Description:

Boldly, lead architecture for Merchant Services (MS) Platform—build scalable, reliable solutions, align teams, and improve customer experiences in a dynamic role.

Merchant Services is the global payment processing business for JPMorgan Chase & Co processing over $2.2 Trillion in annual transaction volume. Merchant Services is a leading provider of payment, fraud, and data security for companies of all sizes and is engaging in a multi-year international expansion, platform modernization.

• Lead the architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap for the MS Platform Product.
• Oversee the design and development of platform features, ensuring scalability, reliability, and reusability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide the product team in best practices for architectural design, prototyping, and solution generation.
• Monitor industry trends and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for platform differentiation.
• Manage architectural risks and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in platform architecture, processes, and methodologies.
• Mentor and coach team members on architectural principles and product delivery.
• Own platform performance and invest in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
• Advocate for customer-centric design and innovation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Communicate architectural decisions and rationale to stakeholders across the organization.

• 8 years of experience delivering product architectures, technology applications, or projects.
• Extensive knowledge of product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics;
  Extensive experience and knowledge of creating Platform as a Service (PaaS) platform solutions.
• Proven ability to influence adoption of architectural best practices, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
• Experience driving change and managing stakeholders across multiple functions;
  Strong expertise in platform architecture, cloud technologies, and scalable systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Recognized thought leader in product architecture or platform product/engineering;
  Experience with MS Platform Product or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams;
  Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management practices.
• Experience with using AI for both efficiency gains in product development and end product usage;
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions.
