Director of Information Technology

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on IT Director to lead and support a growing organization’s technology environment. This role functions at a strategic level (similar to a CTO/CIO) while remaining highly tactical and involved in day-to-day execution.

• Oversee and manage the full IT environment, including infrastructure, systems, and integrations
• Lead and support a team of 4–5 IT professionals while remaining hands-on when needed
• Develop and execute IT roadmaps aligned with business objectives
• Partner with business leaders to gather, refine, and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Identify gaps between business goals and system capabilities and proactively recommend solutions
• Ensure systems (ERP, CRM, phone systems, etc.) are optimized and functioning effectively
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues (networking, hardware, connectivity) as needed
• Support and maintain compliance (HIPAA environment preferred)
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Bachelor's in Information Systems or related field
• 10+ years of IT experience, including leadership responsibilities; strong background across infrastructure, systems, and application environments
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (highly important)
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically ("roll up sleeves" mindset)
• Strong communication skills—ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience in smaller or mid-sized company environments preferred
• Healthcare industry strongly preferred
• Compensation Base Salary: ~$165K–$185K;
  Bonus: 10–15%;
  Total Compensation:
  Up to ~$200K
