Role Summary
The Dev Ops Engineer plays a critical role in modernizing deployment processes, improving automation practices, and enhancing infrastructure operations across the organization. This is a newly created position designed to help drive Dev Ops maturity and enable more efficient, reliable delivery of technology solutions.
This individual will design and support CI CD pipelines, contribute to automation initiatives, and collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams. The role requires a hands on approach to troubleshooting, process improvement, and system integration while helping establish best practices and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will bring technical depth, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to support a growing engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and maintain CI CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery
- Work within Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub environments to manage source control and deployment workflows
- Support migration efforts from Azure Dev Ops repositories to Git Hub
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and pipeline orchestration processes
- Troubleshoot deployment, integration, and environment related issues across systems
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, development, and security teams to align solutions
- Support integration of security and scanning tools within pipelines
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives and automation standards
- Document processes and support continuous improvement efforts across Dev Ops practices
- 3 plus years of experience in Dev Ops engineering, CI CD pipeline development, or automation focused roles
- Strong experience with Azure Dev Ops and hands on experience with Git Hub
- Proven ability to build or support CI CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Experience with automation scripting and process orchestration
- Familiarity with Agile environments and tools such as Jira
- Exposure to Azure cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code concepts
- Experience integrating security or scanning tools into pipelines preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand and improve process flow
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Hybrid schedule with two days onsite every other week in Atlanta
