Position
Purpose:
The Sr. Analyst SEO position is responsible for measuring and improving visibility and performance across emerging AI‑driven discovery platforms for This role focuses on monitoring AI search trends, analyzing performance data, and making clear, data‑backed recommendations to improve how the brand is discovered, cited, and represented within AI‑generated experiences.
The Sr. Analyst will track AI‑driven traffic, attribution, and engagement patterns; monitor brand visibility, citations, and share of mind; and surface optimization opportunities related to content, technical signals, and product data. This role supports reporting and experimentation tied to generative engine optimization (GEO) and broader AI search measurement efforts.
The Sr. Analyst partners closely with Analytics, Content, Product, Engineering, and third‑party vendors to advance AI performance reporting, inform prioritization, and support organic growth as search continues to evolve.
Key Responsibilities- 20% Cross-functional partnership – Meet with key stakeholders and business partners to align on opportunities and risks, strategic priorities, and to share category/site level insights. Represent SEO for assigned categories and work with partners to ensure SEO metrics are understood and prioritized into overall work streams.
- 10% Professional Development and Process Improvement – Staying informed on the latest industry changes with SEO and working to incorporate new strategies into existing processes.
- 25% Project planning and implementation – Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to plan, prioritize, and implement SEO optimizations.
- 15% Reporting & Measurement – Track the performance of assigned categories/functions, measure the impact of SEO optimization projects, and provide data‑driven insights for continued improvement.
- 30% SEO Strategy and Analysis – Monitor keyword/site performance and conduct research to identify opportunities to increase organic traffic and content visibility.

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience with enterprise‑level SEO, preferably in an e‑commerce environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify insights
- Experience with enterprise‑level SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Deepcrawl, Brightedge, Moz, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience monitoring brand visibility, citations, and share of voice across AI‑driven search and discovery surfaces
- Proven ability to prioritize work and advocate for SEO and AI search initiatives in a highly matrixed organization
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
