IT Business Analyst, IT Consultant
Summary of This Role
The Application Program Lead drives the completeness, compliance and accuracy of Business Application records in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role works alongside the Configuration Management and Service Portfolio Management teams to establish and govern effective lifecycle management practices which enable a centralized, data‑driven inventory framework while reducing risk. This role also partners with Technology and Business Application leaders to drive accountability through formal attestations, ensuring application records remain compliant, accurate, and audit‑ready.
What Part Will You Play?
- Govern the end-to‑end lifecycle of business application CIs within the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Shared accountability for the Application Governance Board, aligning diverse stakeholder requirements with enterprise standards.
- Drive enterprise‑wide compliance through the management of annual application attestations, maintaining a high‑fidelity inventory of critical infrastructure.
- Strategically oversee corrective action activities, tracking remediation efforts to completion to mitigate organizational risk.
- Continuously refine governance frameworks, utilizing performance data to enhance efficiency and stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with business leaders to assist with the governance of BU operations; prepare and deliver presentations; respond to questions and/or issues and escalates as needed to leadership; coordinate information from various areas within the LOB to assist in developing strategic plans which may include new technology or edge business unit integration; perform complex projects for senior management requiring analysis of big data.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant experience or degree in information technology, computer science or business administration. Related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in IT Asset Management or IT Service Management in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Typically minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability and experience in executing strategic asset management or IT Service Management processes successfully.
- Strong management and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision.
- Excellent at performing multiple tasks.
- Fundamental understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM) methodology.
- Skills / knowledge – wide‑ranging experience, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review).
- Job complexity – works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
- Supervision – determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
