Position: Project Manager II (FINS)

Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager II to help us support our continued growth in the FINS (Financial Services & Insurance) vertical. The Project Manager is responsible for leading a project’s delivery team through the successful delivery of all projects. Project Managers may be managing one or more client engagements at the same time. They manage Coastal resources and interface with client members to most effectively meet budget, delivery and customer satisfaction goals.

They manage risks and resolve issues via regular status meetings with the project team and all stakeholders. The size of these engagements may range between $100,000 - $500,000, include up to two work streams, and up to (10) team members.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully.
  • Perform Scrum Master duties as required by individual clients.
  • Ensure all team members understand their role and delegated tasks on the project.
  • Empower each team member by enabling, mentoring and delegating tasks for their success.
  • Manage the client relationship throughout the engagement to build and maintain a strong customer relationship.
  • Continually assess people, process and technology risks and adjust project plans to address them accordingly.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues and the communication upwards both internally and with client to ensure that project KPIs are defined and baseline metrics are recorded.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to Coastal project team members and maintains accurate metrics of performance throughout implementations.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of the Salesforce product suite in order to validate key design options and present proposal solutions to all levels of client management.
  • Leverage your solid understanding of the Salesforce product suite and project understanding to validate with the team members key design options and assist in presenting/representing proposal solutions to all levels of client management.
  • Set up and maintenance of tools to track overall project execution including Project Plan, Forecast accuracy, Task Ray set up and execution, Risk & Issue log.
  • Responsible for proper close out of the project including CSAT review.
  • Support change management initiatives and overall Coastal best practices.
  • Travel with client or project team as needed.
Experience / Skills Required
  • Minimum five years of full life-cycle Salesforce implementation experience as Project Manager, providing strong leadership and delivery oversight.
  • Strong client management and communication skills, ability to interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders with a focus on building trust and collaboration.
  • Minimum of an active Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certification required.
  • Ability to maintain oversight and organization of multiple mid to large level projects ranging in duration, size, and budget with multiple work streams in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Exposure to Multiple Salesforce Clouds and integration with additional SaaS platforms.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, ability to lead high-level stakeholders in technical discussions and project oversight.
  • Ability to lead internal team stand‑ups, providing guidance and mentorship throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Work with leadership to follow up with client (and/or internally) to communicate and execute mitigation plan.
  • Must have full‑time permanent US work authorization.
  • Note – Determination of I, II, III will be based upon the candidate’s previous relevant experience and depth of skills, and will be determined through our skills interview process.
Additional

Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP Certification.
