Job Overview
Senior Systems Administrator – Full Time, Senior-level. Department:
Legal/IT. Join CGS supporting a broad technical support initiative for a large Federal agency.
- Manage the archiving of Relativity databases, develop and document a workflow to identify, archive, and delete materials per policy and NARA instruction.
- Report to the Contractor IT Manager, Systems Manager, or Lead Project Manager.
- Consult with the COR, Government Case Managers, and trial attorneys to determine system requirements and proposed technical approaches.
- Define system and project requirements based on consultations.
- Design the system to meet those requirements.
- Perform full‑range technical support on smaller projects, including program validations and testing.
- Conduct system evaluations.
- Present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations.
- Consult with the COR on task orders, scheduling, personnel assignments, priorities, progress reporting, staffing, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Report on contract and task order progress.
- Direct and supervise personnel on tasks, ensuring conformance to work standards and that technical design meets functional requirements.
- Ensure successful completion of work, timeliness of deliverables, and quality control.
- Prepare system and technical documentation.
- Work under the configuration management plan.
- Oversee the technical aspects of tasks.
- Organize and conduct user training sessions on developed systems.
- Prepare training materials and manuals.
- Significant experience with Relativity, including creation and management of ARM (Archive/Restore/Move) workflows.
- Ability to create and refine Relativity ARM workflows and standard operating procedures.
- At least five years of hands‑on experience on Relativity or comparable systems.
- Broad knowledge of Government IT environments, office automation networks, and PC and server‑based databases and applications.
- Experience in a litigation support environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to lead a technical team and provide direction.
- Undergraduate degree strongly preferred, preferably in computer science or information technology disciplines.
- Must obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
- Desired certifications:
Relativity Certified Administrator or Relativity Infrastructure Specialist Certificate.
