Why Hawk-Eye & Why NWSL

As a Tracking Technical Guarantee (TTG), you’ll be at the heart of the action in the NWSL matches. Your role will be crucial in delivering world- class services to this competition.

During a match day, the TTG will be responsible for setting up the optical training systems in the venues assigned to their games and guaranteeing its performance until the match has ended. This will require the technical ability to understand computing systems and their architecture, as well as the use of clear communication to ensure the process is smooth and efficient when liaising with the technicians onsite.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like
  • Pre-Match Preparation: Plan and manage pre-match activities in the 6 hours prior to kick-off.
  • System Checks: Conduct thorough pre-match system checks to ensure everything runs efficiently.
  • Match-Day Operations: Work directly with your Replay Operator and report to your supervisor any incidents that require attention and you’re not able to troubleshoot.
  • Performance Monitoring: Keep a close eye on hardware and software, flagging any issues that arise to your supervisor.
Why Is This The Right Job For You
  • Technical Proficiency: Background in IT or Broadcasting, with a passion for problem-solving.
  • Work under pressure: Ability to perform and make decisions while the game is live. Every second matters.
  • Proactive Attitude: Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills to thrive in a live broadcast environment.
  • Critical Thinking: The ability to approach issues logically and systematically before arriving at conclusions.
  • Communication: Professional and approachable, with strong listening skills under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work mainly on weekends (Friday‑Sunday) and nights (3‑12 pm) throughout the season (February‑November). There may exist opportunities to travel locally to perform maintenance of the systems installed in the venues of teams participating in the NWSL.
  • Soccer Understanding: Preferred, not essential.
