Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for solutions architects who will help high‑growth Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) build better businesses and products on AWS. The role requires experienced technologists with technical breadth and depth, paired with strong interpersonal skills. As a partner with AWS Sales, Partner, Professional Services, and other AWS teams, you will craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

• Design, build, and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for running applications efficiently and reliably on AWS.
• Assist ISVs in defining technical strategies that enable them to present their offerings on AWS.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world‑class solutions built on AWS, ensuring they are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer‑facing publications such as white papers and blog articles.
• Share customer feedback with internal product management and engineering teams to help shape the future of AWS cloud.
• Partner with sales teams to formulate and execute sales strategies, including presentations, proof of concepts, demos, and hands‑on evaluations, to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to empower them as cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or internet industries.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
