Quality Engineering Manager

Sercomm Technology Inc. seeks a full-time Quality Engineering Manager to work in Atlanta, GA. Candidate must have at least a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems (IS), or Information Technology (IT), with 60 months of Software QA Analyst & Tester or Computer Systems Engineer/Architect experience. 60 months of LTE and 5G call connectivity experience is also required, as well as 48 months of Linux experience;

and 24 months of experience in automation testing;
Qualcomm Package Manager ("QPM", including QXDM, QCAT, PCAT); test plan creation;
Python;
Shell Scripting; and performance metric visualization using data analytics tools, such as Tableau, for dashboard creation, report preparation, and analysis. 12 months of Snapdragon Chipset experience is also required. Candidate duties will include:
Lead and manage cross-functional quality engineering teams, including hiring, performance development, and mentorship. Define and execute department-wide automation strategy to support scalable, high-quality software delivery. Direct and coordinate automation initiatives across multiple projects and teams, ensuring alignment with department-wide quality goals and engineering standards. Establish and enforce quality standards, best practices, and compliance protocols. Collaborate with senior leadership to align QA initiatives with business objectives and product roadmaps.

Drive strategic planning for resource allocation, team capacity, and budget forecasting. Provide strategic oversight of CI/CD pipeline architecture, ensuring automated testing is deeply integrated to support scalable, efficient, and reliable software delivery across teams. Lead the vision and oversight of test architecture and automation platforms across the organization, ensuring they scale effectively, align with engineering priorities, and continuously evolve to support innovation.
