Position: Senior Data Analyst (Hybrid Onsite)

Senior Data Analyst (Hybrid Onsite)

Location:

Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $53.76/hr C2C/1099/W2 all inclusive

Job Summary

Under broad supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting in support of management decision‑making in the functional area. Identifies trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. May partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors to address business issues, administer or provide high‑level support for various projects, grants, contracts, implementation of procedures, or specialized functions.

Assists with orientation, training, or providing task guidance of junior team members and provides strategic analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Extract primary data from Oracle Database using SQL
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Provide timely and accurate data to fulfill internal and external data requests
  • Identify, compile, and ‘clean’ data for research projects
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Oversee evaluation and research projects
  • Communicate the evaluation plan and its details to leadership and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with external research partners to ensure understanding of data points and data sets
  • Develop and monitor internal and external data requests
  • Manage, summarize, and analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data
  • Summarize and explain research findings and their implications
  • Prepare findings for publication
  • Develop, review, and abstract published research
  • Produce data visualization dashboards with Tableau
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years in a related lead or supervisory role;
  • Or Associate's degree in a related field and four years of related experience, with two years in a related lead or supervisory role;
  • Or two years of lower‑level IT Business Analyst experience or equivalent position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of knowledge and experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience accessing and extracting data from organizational and/or institutional databases
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/Analysis
  • Proficient skills in queries, report writing, and presenting findings
  • Experience in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau)
