Job Summary:
Provide technical support and system analysis for laboratory information systems within a hospital setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system functionality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Build, support, and maintain lab and pathology information systems across hospital facilities.
- Test and validate integrated systems to ensure seamless operation and accuracy.
- Support regulatory compliance by ensuring lab systems meet industry standards.
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT, laboratory, and clinical teams to optimize system performance.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, including testing phases.
- Hold a BS degree in lab science, computer science, or a related field.
- Have at least 2 years of recent experience as a systems analyst or senior analyst within healthcare IT.
- Possess proficiency with Cerner Millennium computer systems, preferably including Path Net application.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Exhibit the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Gain experience supporting mission-critical healthcare information systems.
