Role Overview

This position encompasses multiple roles with primary responsibility in Project Management and a secondary role focused on IT Delivery Operations and Reporting functions.

As an IT Project Manager, you will lead, organize, and motivate project teams to successfully deliver IT projects for our customers. Projects will vary in complexity, size, scope, and methodology – traditional (waterfall), agile, and hybrid approaches are all utilized within the organization. The PM is accountable for all aspects of the project in a fast‑paced environment focused on value contribution.

You are expected to manage 3-4 high‑visibility efforts in parallel.

For the IT Delivery Operations and Reporting role, you will develop organizational and project reports on a regular cadence, collect data, perform analysis to drive organizational efficiency, spearhead initiatives to improve the organization’s AI maturity, and serve as the Azure Dev Ops (ADO) administrator to support the user base and share best practices. Some after‑hours or weekend work may be required, and minimal travel (10‑15%) may be needed.

You Will Do
  • Drive a sense of urgency by managing project scope, issues, risks, stakeholders, communications, and financials while seeking value‑added improvement opportunities.
  • Provide project leadership and proactively escalates issues or concerns, and drive resolutions when there are changes to scope, resources, schedule, and budget.
  • Utilize leadership skills to influence cross‑functional team members and ensure accountability for deliverables and expectations.
  • Exercise strong leadership and communication skills to build preferred partnerships with both business and IT at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Leverage best practices, identify and enhance project management best practices within the organization, share knowledge, and mentor others.
  • Collaborate with teams and leverage tools such as Planview to consolidate data and create reports for key projects, agile delivery management, and vendor management.
  • Provide analysis and insights on organizational effectiveness, and develop and implement initiatives to increase AI maturity and employee productivity.
  • Provide ADO administration in support of users across the enterprise and identify best practices and value‑added use cases to drive profitable adoption.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience managing application development and packaged software implementation projects – including traditional, agile, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Project, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Previous leadership experience leading cross‑functional onshore/offshore teams and vendors in a complex environment and engaging with business leaders and IT stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience collaborating, developing relationships, coaching teams, and embracing the challenge process; detail‑oriented with an appetite for learning the business and new skills.
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Manufacturing experience in paper production or converting environment.
  • Certified PMP or CSM.
  • Experience working in a PMO and managing capital projects.
  • Experience in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) administration.
  • Experience using Planview.
  • Experience leading AI initiatives or projects across the enterprise.
