Deluxe Data Solutions Analyst

This position is the technical resource that works between our clients, internal systems, and processes to ensure the execution of marketing campaigns. The analyst performs quality control inspections and routines to ensure data is consistent and properly mapped to Deluxe standard file structure. The analyst works with the client and data files to address and resolve issues, and collaborates with internal teams to support ad‑hoc requirements and data processing.

Responsibilities
  • Process Evaluation and Improvement:
    Contribute to continuous organizational improvement through documented initiatives and lessons learned from projects, and share process and technical ideas for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Data Project Management:
    Lead exploratory process with clients and internal functions to define data requirements, establish deliverables and timelines, liaise with stakeholders and support teams, and maintain thorough documentation of processes, decisions and issues.
  • Execution and Delivery:
    Complete moderately complex data projects, ensuring timely and flawless extraction of customized data sets for client requests. Create, update, and maintain data tables and systems, update process specifications, design and implement ad‑hoc data processing routines, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Launch/Implementation Support:
    Evaluate and proactively communicate status of tasks with regard to deadlines and completion to Marketing Campaign Manager, apply standard problem‑solving methods to troubleshoot issues, and develop solution options to meet clients and project needs.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics or Statistics and at least 1 year of experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in R, Python or other big‑data tools and languages.
  • Experience in SQL, Visual Studio/SSIS and/or other database structures or big‑data tools.
  • Experience with AWS cloud technology such as S3, Athena, Glue, Dynamo

    DB, Lambda.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • At least 1 year of experience in R, Python or other big‑data tools and languages.
  • At least 1 year of experience in SQL, Visual Studio/SSIS and/or other database structures or big‑data tools.
  • At least 1 year of experience with AWS cloud technology such as S3, Athena, Glue, Dynamo

    DB, Lambda.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 annually. This position may be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. Base pay will vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity.
