Senior Helix Developer; Custom Software Engineer

Join our Communications, Media, & Technology (CM&T) practice as a Senior Helix Developer supporting a critical enterprise modernization initiative. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise to design, configure, and scale critical IT service management applications. You will play a vital role in transforming operations by executing seamless application migrations and automation pipelines onto the BMC Helix platform.

• Design, build, customize, and maintain core BMC Helix ITSM modules, custom forms, business rules, and user interface components.
• Create robust automated workflows, approval matrices, escalations, and notification routines using Developer Studio, Innovation Studio, and Digital Workplace.
• Build and deploy secure integrations connecting Helix with external enterprise platforms like JIRA using REST and SOAP web services.
• Oversee legacy application migrations into Innovation Studio, ensuring complete functionality preservation and strict alignment with ITIL framework best practices.

10+ years of hands-on experience developing with BMC Helix ITSM, Innovation Suite, or BMC Remedy.

Comprehensive experience designing complex workflows utilizing Active Links, Filters, and Escalations, alongside building REST/SOAP API integrations.

Proven track record leading software migrations into Innovation Studio platforms.

Must be local to the Atlanta area and able to work onsite 2-4 days per week.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience working within the Communications, Media, & Technology (CMT) industry or with Cox enterprise business systems.

Deep structural knowledge of CMDB data modeling, data normalization, and reconciliation rules.

Strong proficiency in custom SQL scripting and analytics reporting using Helix Dashboards.
