Role Overview

As part of Finastra’s AI COE, we are seeking Product Owners to lead delivery pods, partnering directly with product teams to embed AI capabilities into Laser Pro.

Responsibilities & Deliverables
  • Lead and manage the delivery pod to successfully deliver AI‑enabled features and capabilities
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog for AI integrations into Laser Pro based on business value and strategic objectives
  • Partner directly with product teams to identify opportunities for embedding AI capabilities that enhance product value
  • Translate business requirements and user needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other agile ceremonies to ensure team alignment and productivity
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the AI COE and Lending product stakeholders
  • Make informed decisions on feature prioritization, scope, and trade‑offs to maximize delivery impact
  • Monitor and communicate delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve AI capabilities
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure AI solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with product vision
  • Define success metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of AI capabilities on product performance
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between AI COE objectives and product team goals
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team performance
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong understanding of Laser Pro product domains
  • Strong background in product ownership or product management, preferably with AI/ML products
  • Proven experience leading agile delivery teams and managing product backlogs
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML capabilities and how they can be embedded into product offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional product and technical teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing without direct authority
  • Expertise in agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks
  • Excellent prioritization and decision‑making skills with focus on business value delivery
  • Experience translating complex technical concepts into business value propositions
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with ability to drive alignment across diverse teams
  • Track record of successfully delivering AI‑enabled features or products
  • Analytical mindset with experience defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
