Location: Atlanta, GA Salary: $75.00 USD Hourly - $95.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager (II)
Role Overview
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will independently manage the full lifecycle of programs that extend beyond your immediate team, with a focus on emissions management and environmental compliance. You will lead, organize, and oversee program activities that drive measurable business outcomes while developing systems to proactively identify improvements and optimize future processes. This includes change management execution and performance metric development.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Charters: Independently author charters covering scope, timeline, OKRs, resourcing, and risks/dependencies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and manage escalations effectively.
- Technical Issue Triage: Assess and triage technical escalations across teams, evaluating impact and resolution paths.
- Program Communication: Design and deliver predictable communication plans tailored to stakeholder types.
- Change Management: Execute rollout plans, conduct impact analyses, and monitor adoption.
- Project Tracking: Maintain trackers and status reports while identifying and executing program tasks.
- Governance Structures: Define frameworks for mitigations, postmortems, and escalations.
- Program Management Proficiency: Expertise in planning, execution, and governance in technical environments.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build trust and manage expectations across cross-functional teams.
- Organizational Change Management: Skilled in developing and monitoring rollout plans.
- Technical Judgment: Proficiency in assessing and triaging complex technical issues.
- Environmental Expertise: Preferred experience in emissions-related program management.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of program management experience.
