Data Visualization Senior Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Consultant who has a passion for data visualization, has already developed a level of technical subject matter expertise yet desires to grow into a leader worth following in the space of data and analytics.

While not initially a leadership role, we seek a candidate who desires to grow over a multi-year journey of professional development (leadership, business, and technology) into a leader worth following, with the ultimate goal of launching them back into the marketplace as a next generation leader.

Build authentic relationships, partnering with our clients to assess their needs through conversations to understand organizational and business goals.

Collaborate with clients and team members to determine data needs and potential solutions based on best practices and contextual understanding of the people, systems, and technology in the organization.

Work closely with lead consultant to develop new data solutions and workflows to prepare the data to achieve client goals as outlined in Statement of Works.

Develop, test, and deploy data solutions both in the cloud and on-premise, to support analytic insights based on work outlined in SOWs.

Monitor, optimize, and integrate data solutions for clients based on work outlined in SOWs.

Ensure data validation through the analytical process, capturing business logic through technical calculations and thoughtful data structures that balance insights and performance.

Design and develop interactive visual analysis, beginning with the end in mind, to support analytic insights that lead to data driven decision making with minimal oversight from lead consultant.

Maintain accurate time keeping records and ensure timely data entry into the time keeping solution.

2+ years of professional working experience with 1+ year being in data analytics (data engineering, data visualization, data science)

1+ years of experience leveraging data (ideally from cloud databases) and preparing it for analysis – could be with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Snowflake, Databricks, DBT, Python, etc.

Key participant in building solutions that start with the ideal behavior of the end user, incorporate existing systems and processes, and encompass multiple modern data technologies

Certified or are willing to take certifications in Tableau and/or Alteryx, Power BI, Google Cloud, Databricks, and other technology platforms.

Translate business needs from multiple stakeholders into analytic solutions that lead to insight

4+ years with at least one of these preferred technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, DBT, Snowflake, Fivetran, Alteryx, Tableau, Tableau Prep, Power BI

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments

2+ years of experience in agency or professional services consulting

In order to support our thriving culture, Analytic Vizion gets together once every three or four weeks in person in Atlanta.

For those that are not within driving distance of Atlanta, we invite you to travel for each of our four quarterly celebrations, including, our annual trip (a weekend in the summer or fall to an awesome destination), and our “Thanks Giving” holiday celebration in November.

Additionally, we balance the needs of our clients for hosting our consultants on site with the desires of our consultants. Where desired and where possible, we will continue to work remotely with our clients.
