The Senior IT Project Manager will lead and oversee enterprise technology initiatives focused on SAP Event Management and Liquid UI implementations and enhancements. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery across cross-functional business and technology teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading SAP projects and managing enterprise application initiatives within SAP environments. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, developers, vendors, and leadership teams to drive successful project execution.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities- Lead SAP Event Management and Liquid UI projects from initiation through deployment.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP functional teams, developers, QA, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, SDLC processes, and change management practices.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
- Provide leadership updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of IT Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
- 5+ years managing SAP-related projects within large enterprise environments.
- Experience leading projects involving SAP Event Management and Liquid UI initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, vendors, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Service Now, or Smartsheet.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4
HANA environments. - PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications preferred.
- Experience managing enterprise application enhancement or modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of SAP integrations and related enterprise application ecosystems.
