• Requirements Gathering: Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand objectives, capture functional and non‑functional requirements, and translate them into detailed data specifications.
• Data Analysis Expertise: Strong analytical mindset with experience exploring datasets, identifying trends, validating data accuracy, detecting anomalies.
• Data Mapping & Documentation: Experience creating source‑to‑target data mappings, identifying transformation logic, documenting business rules, and ensuring accurate flow of data across systems.
• Data Model Interpretation: Ability to read, interpret, and navigate conceptual, logical, and physical data models (ERDs, relational schemas, star/snowflake models). Understands table relationships, primary/foreign keys, cardinality, and normalization concepts.

• Proficiency inSQLfor querying and analyzing data across relational databases.
• Understanding of data structures, relational models, and metadata.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data profiling and quality checks.
• Basic knowledge of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and data integration workflows.
• Experience with Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.

• Strong communication skills to translate business needs into data requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with strong documentation discipline.
• Ability to collaborate with business, data engineering, and product teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with structured, logical thinking.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
