The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos is recruiting a Jr AI Developer for a full‑time, onsite position in Atlanta, GA.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. persons who can obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide configuration, sustainment, user support, AI‑enabled workflow enhancement, compliance documentation, and reporting services to maintain operational readiness of protective services reporting systems.
- Design, configure, and maintain WebEOC (or equivalent) boards, forms, routing logic, conditional workflows, and structured data fields; maintain version‑controlled configuration documentation and audit trails.
- Configure Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) settings per government‑approved access policies and document all changes for review.
- Configure and support government‑approved AI tools for drafting, summarization, structured data extraction, and quality review; ensure all AI operations are human‑in‑the‑loop and do not train on government data.
- Develop and maintain low‑code workflows and operational dashboards using Microsoft 365 or comparable enterprise environments; document data sources, transformations, calculations, and data dictionaries.
- Maintain system documentation: configuration baseline packages, administration guides, operational runbooks, and related artifacts in open, reusable formats consistent with NARA guidance and FAR 52.227-14.
- Map system workflows and AI enhancements to applicable OMB Circular A‑123 control objectives; prepare monthly internal control support documentation including change logs, reconciliations, access review summaries, audit log summaries, and testing artifacts.
- Maintain an AI Use‑Case Register documenting purpose, scope, limitations, risk considerations, and required human review controls; support government review of AI output quality and effectiveness.
- Assist with CFR Part 11 validation support where applicable, including change‑control support and audit trail documentation summaries.
- Support records management and data governance practices consistent with NARA guidance and federal privacy requirements; document data retention and records management processes.
- Produce a monthly report containing ticket summaries, resolution metrics, system availability, audit log summaries, A‑123 supporting documentation, identified risks, and recommended mitigation actions; coordinate with government personnel on requirements documentation and market research.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1‑2 years of experience with at least two programming languages (Python preferred).
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT.
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
- Experience administering, monitoring, and updating application systems and building low‑code automations or BI dashboards in an enterprise or government tenant.
- Ability to work 24/7 on‑call with a response time of 15 minutes and recall within 90 minutes; must carry a cell phone at all times.
- Capability to handle concurrent requests from multiple groups or organizations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong prioritization skills and resilience under stressful, critical situations.
- Excellent English language skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong customer relations skills that ensure satisfaction with SNS services.
- Experience working in a call center environment where teamwork is essential to service delivery.
- Experience with Genetec Security Center Unified Security Platform.
- Previous experience supporting a government agency.
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance.
