Position: GLOBAL MARKETING AUTOMATION SENIOR ANALYST

Job Summary

The Global Marketing Automation Senior Analyst is responsible for the hands‑on technical development, execution, reporting, analysis, and optimization of data-driven marketing automation strategies, programs, technologies, and data at scale, globally. The Analyst collaborates with internal and external teams worldwide on campaign strategy, campaign and automation requirements, audience strategy, data strategy, data signal development, data activation, data synchronization, and data integrity.

The Analyst creates all aspects of campaigns using marketing automation technologies and data, ensuring compliant execution to protect the organization against regulatory penalties. The Analyst also supports ongoing management of the marketing automation system and related components.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on the strategic design and development of advanced marketing automation initiatives
    • Provide subject‑matter expertise on marketing automation strategies that align with business goals, customer engagement, and revenue generation.
    • Leverage customer data, technology platforms, and growth marketing processes to achieve campaign objectives compliantly.
    • Facilitate data‑driven strategy, agile execution, and optimization through collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
    • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide proactive optimization recommendations.
    • Direct vendors to maximize value and meet or exceed business objectives.
    • Monitor best practices through external benchmarking, conferences, and webinars to influence internal policy and strategy.
  • Strategic, creative, data, and technical execution of data‑driven marketing automation campaign deliverables
    • Guide evaluation of alternatives, determine campaign impact, and recommend solutions to meet business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on audience strategy, campaign strategy, journey strategy, messaging strategy, and measurement plans.
    • Conduct large‑scale analysis, derive insights, and make data‑driven recommendations.
    • Handle the hands‑on technical creation of all campaign elements globally using marketing automation tools, Databricks, and other technologies and data sources.
    • Measure, analyze, report on effectiveness, and recommend optimizations.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and campaign issues.
    • Identify and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce compliance risk.
    • Ensure realistic timelines, milestones, and dependencies, and proactively address program challenges.
    • Evaluate project status to keep scope intact and deliver on time, within budget.
    • Create and deliver presentations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, configuration, integration, and management of technologies and data for marketing automation campaigns
    • Create and maintain creative templates, program templates, segmentations, and data management workflows.
    • Maintain the health, cleanliness, and integrity of data used by marketing automation tools, UPS Contact Preference Center, UPS Customer Data Platform, and other UPS systems.
    • Develop, test, and activate strategic data signals and pipelines synchronizing data between systems.
    • Adopt and advance marketing automation solutions to improve efficiency and compliance risk.
    • Serve as the Marketing Automation Center of Excellence subject‑matter expert, providing training and guidance on best practices, compliance, data, and technology.
    • Contribute to implementation, configuration, integration, management, troubleshooting, and optimization of multiple technologies used for global marketing automation.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of marketing automation strategies and best practices, technology platform integration and management, and email and data privacy compliance.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools or an email service provider:
    Marketo (preferred), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Hub Spot, Acoustic Connect, etc.
  • Strong data and analytical skills, including querying, analyzing, deriving insights, and recommending actions from large data sets (millions of records) from multiple data sources.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or internationally comparable degree).
