Position Overview

Cox Media Group Atlanta Radio is searching for a Client Performance Manager who will be responsible for managing our most strategic accounts. The Client Performance Manager serves as a subject matter expert for cross-channel marketing analysis for our most high-value advertising clients, providing ROI storytelling through digital campaign analytics and advanced analytics technologies. They are responsible for campaign management and performance deliverables for the market's key clients.

They deliver effective campaign reporting and analyses, interact directly with clients to convey data-driven stories, and recommend solutions for optimal business results. They collaborate with internal teams to act upon insights, communicate optimization opportunities with operations teams, and present client campaign performance stories to drive strategic conversations for account growth.

The role requires superior campaign management skills, tracking client media plans, goals, challenges, and shifts in strategy. Collaboration with internal and external teams ensures a closed loop from media planning to execution, reporting, and insights. Clear and concise communication is key.

Previous experience in digital campaign analytics and creating client-facing deliverables is critical. The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of digital analytic platforms (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, etc.) and a basic knowledge of ad tags/trafficking and conversion management. An analytically curious mindset is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather, mine, and analyze campaign data to build client-facing presentations and personally deliver insights and opportunities.
  • Drive retention and growth on top analytic accounts and grow the strategic account base.
  • Provide oversight of client expectations, timelines, and management for strategic accounts, adding a strategic touchpoint for advertisers on calls and presentations.
  • Leverage comprehensive knowledge of all digital ad products and operations to monitor and enhance campaigns to achieve advertiser goals and KPIs.
  • Maintain internal documentation ensuring proper campaign management and record of media plans, QA, optimizations, and client details.
  • Understand internal and outsourced digital platforms and how technology stacks serve campaigns.
  • Communicate performance in ongoing reporting recaps to stakeholders.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement of service quality and campaign results for local markets and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a digital advertising operations role with sales and marketers.
  • Working knowledge of ad platforms and reporting systems such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Marketing Platforms, Facebook, CM360/DV360/SA360.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications required.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Domo is a plus.
  • Superior Excel skills for interpreting data and PowerPoint skills for visualizing outcomes.
  • Proven digital campaign management skills, including processing, trafficking and monitoring against expectations.
  • Detail-oriented analyst with an understanding of digital channels, delivering ROI-focused insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to craft data-driven stories, present to stakeholders, translate technical info to non-technical audiences.
  • Responsible for trafficking, monitoring, and reporting on owned & operated digital campaigns.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic digital agency environment.
  • Positive attitude, self-starter, works independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in campaign and performance management.
