Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Technical Project / QA Manager for a leading technology‑driven operations company. This individual will step into a high‑visibility, hands‑on role acting as both a Project Manager and QA Manager, overseeing ongoing development efforts and ensuring high‑quality delivery. The candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and a small development team, managing requirements, sprint execution, and QA processes through Azure Dev Ops.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, “own the process” environment, supporting new feature development, client implementations, and overall system enhancements while working closely with executive leadership.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and development team
- Gather and refine requirements, then convert into user stories and sprint tasks
- Manage 1‑week sprint cycles + Kanban workflows in Azure Dev Ops
- Oversee a 4‑person development team, ensuring progress and accountability
- Build and execute test plans to ensure quality for new features and releases
- Run Agile ceremonies: stand‑ups, sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming
- Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies and escalate appropriately
- Coordinate delivery of new features, enhancements, and client implementations
- Ensure releases meet QA standards before deployment
- Provide regular updates to IT leadership and CTO

- 3+ years of experience in technical project management and/or QA leadership
- Experience acting as a Scrum Master / Agile lead (running ceremonies, managing sprints)
- Hands‑on experience with Azure Dev Ops (backlog, sprint boards, ticket tracking)
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate into technical deliverables
- Strong QA ownership (test plans, UAT, regression testing, release validation)
- Experience overseeing small development teams (4–5 engineers)
- Strong communication skills – able to interface with business stakeholders and report to executive leadership (CTO)
- Experience working in Agile/Kanban hybrid environments
- Experience in client implementations or customer‑facing product delivery
- Background in both project management and QA/test leadership
- Experience stepping into “stop‑gap” / stabilization roles
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data validation
- Experience coordinating release management and production deployments
- PMP certification
