About The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Sales Principal to support enterprise and strategic customers throughout the pre‑sales lifecycle. The individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor to CISOs and senior security leaders, translating complex cybersecurity challenges into well‑architected, business‑aligned solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Grow the business through farming existing clients and hunting new logos.
  • Engage directly with CISOs and senior security leaders to understand business objectives, risk tolerance, and cybersecurity maturity.
  • Lead strategic discussions across multiple cybersecurity towers including Network & Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, Endpoint & Zero Trust, Security Operations, Application Security & Dev Sec Ops , Data Security & Privacy, and Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes, risk reduction, and ROI narratives; position solutions within broader enterprise security strategies.
  • Support account teams throughout the sales cycle, from discovery through close, delivering compelling presentations, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions.
  • Assist with proof‑of‑concepts and technical validations when required.
  • Maintain strong competitive awareness and positioning.
  • Design end‑to‑end cybersecurity architectures that integrate people, process, and technology.
  • Map customer requirements to reference architectures, target‑state designs, and roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and articulate trade‑offs between tools, platforms, and architectural approaches.
  • Align solutions with industry frameworks and standards such as Zero Trust, NIST, ISO, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and scalability.
  • Lead or significantly contribute to RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, producing technical narratives, architecture diagrams, security controls mapping, and addressing assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
  • Present and defend proposed solutions during customer evaluations, demos, and technical deep dives.
Skills & Experience
  • 7–12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant exposure to pre‑sales, consulting, or solution architecture roles.
  • Proven experience engaging enterprise or large‑mid‑market customers and responding to RFPs and structured procurement processes.
  • Broad knowledge across multiple cybersecurity domains, not limited to a single specialty.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid enterprise environments, modern security architecture, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Ability to create and explain logical, physical, and security architecture diagrams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and guiding senior stakeholders.
  • Strong written skills for proposals, technical documentation, and executive summaries.
  • Prior experience as a Cybersecurity Architect, Consultant, or Senior Sales Engineer.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or cloud security certifications.
  • Experience working with regulated industries (finance, healthcare, public sector, etc.).
  • Familiarity with large‑scale cybersecurity transformation programs.
Compensation

Base compensation range: $119,498 – $269,280.

Benefits
  • Paid time off based on employee grade:
    Vacation 12‑25 days.
  • Company paid holidays, personal days, and sick leave.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage (or provincial healthcare coordination in Canada).
  • Retirement savings plans (401(k) in the U.S., RRSP in Canada).
  • Life and disability insurance.
