Senior Security Engineer - IAM Identity Services

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the technical IT/cybersecurity capabilities, including all phases of the software development lifecycle and software stack: threat modeling, static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and penetration testing.
• Design, plan, test, and implement phases of cybersecurity technology projects.
• Lead efforts related to designing, planning, enhancing, and testing all cybersecurity technologies used throughout the enterprise, including base‑lining current systems, trend analysis, and capacity planning.
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the use of new information security technologies or modifications to existing equipment and systems to provide capability for proposed projects, efficient operation, and effective use of resources.
• Lead the implementation of new information security technologies or integration of existing technologies, including initial configuration, installation, change management, and operational handoff.
• Use sophisticated analytical thought through models, testing, and experience to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
• Provide technical support for information security technologies, delivering expert problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
• Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work‑related experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Deep specialized knowledge of cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle security practices.
• Deep knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.
• Strong experience with Active Directory (On‑Premise and EntraID [Azure AD]).
• Experience configuring Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Crowdstrike, Splunk, and related platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive work to completion.

• Master’s degree or MBA and ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Other security certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, GSEC, GCED, GPPA).
• Other technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, RHCE, MCSE).
• Certification in Information Security Management (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, CISM) or related security certification(s).

The annual base salary for this position is $120,000 – $150,000. Additional incentive pay is available for this position.
