About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AWS Dev Ops Engineer located in the Metro Atlanta area to join our high‑performing engineering team. In this role, you will architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support mission‑critical enterprise systems. You’ll collaborate closely with software and data engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions for our clients.

This is a hands‑on senior role for someone who thrives in automation‑first environments, enjoys solving complex cloud challenges, and wants to influence Dev Ops strategy across multiple projects. You’ll be working with a team of ImagineX’ers on‑site three days a week in Midtown, ensuring strong alignment and a smooth partnership with the client.

• Architect, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Git Hub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Manage and automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling across multiple environments.
• Deploy, secure, and maintain Amazon EKS clusters and containerized workloads.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, X‑Ray, and related AWS observability tools.
• Partner with engineering teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and network controls.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term reliability improvements.
• Champion Dev Ops culture, automation, and continuous improvement across teams.

• 5–8+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep expertise with Amazon Web Services
  , including services such as:
  • EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS
  • ECR
  • RDS, DynamoDB, S3
  • VPC, Private Link, Security Groups, NACLs
• Strong experience with AWS Code Pipeline, Git Hub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Power Shell, or Python
  .
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and governance.
• Experience implementing observability and incident response workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer, Sys Ops Administrator, etc.).
• Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or distributed systems.
• Background in .NET, Node.js, or backend engineering.
• Experience with Fin Ops or cloud cost optimization.
• Familiarity with SOC2, Zero Trust, or other compliance frameworks.
