IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
Job Overview
Principal Consultant, PSO, OMNI Functional (OLM) – (Atlanta, GA).
Work closely with cross‑function teams including sales, R&D, product development and related groups. Assist in design of enhancements and improvements to Manhattan Associates systems based on client requirements and map system integrations. Ensure the development of professional client relationships, client satisfaction, and referencability. Train clients on system configurations and capabilities.
Responsibilities- Identify critical business, technical, and/or operational issues and drive issues to closure.
- Manage the technical aspects of enterprise‑level software implementations with the assistance of project technical resources.
- Contribute to the continuous development of Manhattan Associates’ software implementation methodology.
- Ensure the project team proactively identifies and troubleshoots critical issues, maintains and prioritizes project issue lists, suggests solutions, and escalates when appropriate.
- Train junior consultants on Manhattan Associates system integrations and installation.
- Manage means by which to quantify metrics for success at go‑live and thereafter.
- Requires a four‑year bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related technical field and 4 years of post‑bachelor’s experience in a software‑related technical field.
- Requires 4 years of experience deploying software and troubleshooting SQL databases.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a master’s or foreign equivalent degree plus 2 years of experience (or 3 years of academic study toward a bachelor’s, or a 3‑year baccalaureate plus 5 years of experience) may satisfy the requirement.
- Requires 2 years of experience working in a client or customer‑facing role within a supply chain, retail store system, customer service solutions, or point of commerce solutions or software organization.
- Up to 50% travel required.
- Position reports to the Atlanta, GA office.
- Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but candidates must live within commuting distance of the stated office.
