Logistics Systems Specialist

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Systems Specialist in Atlanta, GA. This role is full time onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Candidate must be a US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Provide logistics and administrative support to assist in operating and maintaining the SNS national stockpiled inventory, ensuring the inventory is ready for deployment and able to respond 24x7 in an emergency.

• Identify and draft inventory management system changes and updates.
• Create implementation test scripts.
• Develop and update reports for users.
• Manage and provide systems support for inventory management system projects.
• Serve as the functional and technical expert for systems planning, implementation and sustainment for business enhancements;
  Oracle System utilization;
  Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) planning and implementation; and inventory reports.
• Maintain inventory management system set‑ups for Item Master, Bill of Material (BOM), Routings, Sub‑inventories, Locators, etc. Track system performance problems through resolution, testing, correcting and approving scripts for system enhancements, create testing methods for solving system issues, act as the point of contact for testing additional scripts and system evaluations, and enter mass data loads for inventory management system.
• Demonstrate an adept understanding of end‑to‑end business flows and the ability to translate those flows into system solutions for business process mapping.
• Provide support for inventory management system, train and evaluate new users.
• Document and conduct remedial training and provide instruction for new procedures.

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 1-2 years of related experience (four additional years of experience may be substituted for degree).
• Knowledge of and experience supporting Oracle Business Intelligence supply chain operations and Oracle E‑Business Suite system and ERP implementations.
• Required to be on‑call 24 hours/7 days a week. Must respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes with a recall of 90 minutes and report to a designated location. Must carry a cell phone at all times.
• Ability to handle requests from multiple groups/organizations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and scope with occasional periods of stress when dealing with critical situations.
• Possesses excellent English language skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrates strong customer‑relations capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction with SNS services.
• Experience working in a call‑center environment where teamwork was an essential element of service delivery.

• Previous experience supporting a government agency.
• 508 Compliance knowledge.

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
