Job OverviewWe are seeking a Systems Analyst 1 to support business and technology initiatives. The selected candidate will analyze business objectives, evaluate system capabilities, gather requirements, and recommend solutions to improve existing computer systems and business processes.
This role requires collaboration with business users and technical teams to document requirements, identify process improvements, and support system implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business objectives, operational procedures, and user requirements.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve existing systems.
- Conduct studies and cost-benefit analyses of alternative solutions.
- Gather and document detailed business and system requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications and detailed descriptions of user needs.
- Evaluate system capabilities, specifications, and technical constraints.
- Assist with testing, implementation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support system enhancements and modifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Minimum 2 years of experience analyzing user requirements, procedures, and business problems to improve computer systems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience documenting user needs, program functions, and system requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of experience reviewing system capabilities, specifications, and limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in problem-solving, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and supporting computer systems.
- Functional Specifications
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Hybrid work schedule (as determined by the hiring manager).
- Candidates must currently reside in Texas.
