About the Role

Global Head of Advanced Engineering— senior executive responsible for leading Invesco’s global AI, machine learning, and advanced engineering strategy, driving enterprise-wide adoption, overseeing design and deployment of AI solutions, and aligning technology with business objectives.

Strategic Leadership & Vision
—partner with Innovation and Technology leadership to define and execute AI strategy aligned with Invesco’s long‑term vision and growth priorities; educate and influence senior leaders.

Innovation & Technology Development
—identify, evaluate, and adopt emerging AI/ML trends; build and lead a high‑performing global engineering team.

Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
—partner with business leaders to identify AI‑enabled transformation opportunities and develop actionable delivery plans; oversee end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of scalable AI solutions.

Operational Excellence
—establish and optimize AI model lifecycle, data governance, and technology delivery processes; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Culture & Talent Development
—foster an inclusive environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent; champion continuous learning.

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience, including 5+ years focused on AI or ML.
• Hands‑on development, application, and enterprise architecture experience; multi‑cloud (AWS/Azure) proficiency.
• Proven success delivering large‑scale AI/ML solutions in regulated environments, preferably financial services.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, data science, cloud platforms, solution architecture, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with scenario planning, risk identification, and business strategy alignment.
• Strong external network and credibility in the AI/technology ecosystem.
• Knowledge of blockchain/tokenization or understanding of tokenization economics is an advantage.
• Experience with CoPilot Studio is an advantage.
