Overview
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payment services to financial institutions. The Sr. Systems Configuration Analyst supports business application configuration, setup, maintenance, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting for FRFS’s ACH, Check, and Fed Now payment services.
Onsite Work ExpectationsOnsite work is an essential function of this position, and the employee is required to be onsite according to a schedule set by management.
Responsibilities- Configure, set up, maintain, test, analyze, and troubleshoot business applications across Federal Reserve systems.
- Perform due diligence, research, and analysis; process accounting and settlement configuration for institutions.
- Coordinate and execute changes in accounting and settlement agreements, including mergers, retirements, and failed institutions.
- Engage with financial institution stakeholders and internal FRFS teams to analyze and implement configuration changes.
- Lead on special projects that require advanced analytical, project‑management, and technical skills.
- Act as subject‑matter expert on configuration impacts during depository institution cyber incidents and perform necessary actions to disable or restore services.
- Document issues, evaluate severity, determine corrective action, and coordinate escalation to leads or management.
- Resolve complex customer‑setup and test‑file issues, including connectivity and formatting problems.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training to less experienced staff; develop and administer training plans and materials.
- Participate in or lead meetings, create agendas, document business requirements, support user acceptance testing, and maintain updated department procedures.
- Assist with critical testing activities such as Business Continuity, Protracted Outage Impact Testing, Operational Readiness, and application conversions or enhancements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing status updates.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five to eight years of experience for senior level; eight or more years for lead level.
Atlanta, Kansas City, and Minneapolis.
