Business Systems Analyst II Job Atlanta area,Georgia USA,IT/Tech

The Business Systems Analyst II will work closely with finance business units to gather, analyze, and document requirements for business applications, focusing on Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and EBS systems. This role thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and acts as a change agent, driving innovative solutions and fostering collaboration between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilitie
s:

Collaborate with business unit stakeholders to identify and define application requirements
Develop developer-friendly functional designs, user stories, and wireframes aligned with business needs
Serve as liaison between business and engineering teams, resolving issues and providing updates to senior management
Facilitate user story grooming sessions and coordinate discussions between business and engineering stakeholders
Document complex cross-functional business processes and procedures
Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Research software applications to understand current functionality and suggest impactful changes to senior management
Partner with engineering teams to implement technical solutions and challenge the status quo
Test and validate applications against business requirements and coordinate testing activities
Produce process maps and data models to identify patterns and trends for proposed applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, securing stakeholder buy-i
Monitor solution effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed
Conduct market research on competitors, customers, and industry trends to inform enterprise-level recommendations
Identify risks and develop contingency plans for enterprise initiatives
Maintain deep knowledge of assigned business systems, processes, and data
Mentor junior Business Analysts and provide guidance on issue resolution

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with finance business systems
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and EBS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in producing functional designs, user stories, wireframes, and process documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience mentoring or leading other Business Analysts
Proven ability to influence and implement process improvements at an enterprise level
