Job Description
This position requires extensive experience in leading software development teams and managing projects across multiple technologies, including mainframe applications and transitions to modern solutions. The role combines Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Program Manager responsibilities.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills- Prior experience managing application development projects.
- Experience managing projects for mainframe applications and projects transitioning from mainframe to client/server or SaaS solutions.
- Experience transitioning from Waterfall to Agile with a strong Scrum background.
- 6+ years proven experience as a Scrum Master leading a software development team, applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory, and knowledge of additional Agile approaches (Scaled Agile, Kanban, Release Train Engineer, etc.).
- Advanced experience with Jira.
- Ability to flex across Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Program Manager roles.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams and work with internal IT subject matter experts, business partners, and external vendors.
- Coordinate activities across multiple areas to achieve project objectives.
- Work with key stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, objectives, track budget, deliverables, risks/issues, and project status.
- Manage application development projects, including mainframe projects and transitions to other technology solutions.
- Facilitate the transition from Waterfall to Agile with a strong Scrum background.
- Lead a software development team as a Scrum Master, applying Scrum principles and practices, and use additional Agile approaches.
$110,000-$140,000 a year
