Role Overview
This role is responsible for building, supporting, and optimizing Epic Cadence and Prelude applications. The focus is on scheduling workflows, referrals, and work queue functionality. This position supports both operational maintenance and upcoming project initiatives, including enhancements to scheduling and oncology programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Epic Cadence and Prelude build activities, including scheduling workflows, appointment requests, referral processes, and work queues.
- Configure and maintain decision trees, rules, and system logic for scheduling operations.
- Support referral management workflows across the system.
- Provide ongoing system support through break/fix troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and optimization efforts.
- Assist with new department builds and configuration updates.
- Participate in project work, including enhancements tied to oncology programs.
- Generate and review productivity or system-related reports as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Epic Cadence and/or Prelude certification is required.
- Demonstrated hands-on build experience is necessary; this is not a trainer-only role.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to function as an active builder and support both operational maintenance and project-based enhancements.
- Understanding of healthcare scheduling and access workflows.
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule, with two days onsite in Atlanta.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience is preferred.
- Experience in referral workflows is strongly preferred.
- Experience in optimization, support, or project-based environments.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $80.00/hour to $90.00/hour. The permanent salary range is between $95,000 and $ annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and experience.
