Product Manager – Payment Solutions to support the delivery, stabilization, and orchestration of enterprise-scale payment initiatives across in-store, web, and mobile app channels.
This is a highly execution-focused and delivery-driven role, responsible for ensuring seamless and reliable guest payment experiences across all digital and physical touchpoints. The role sits at the core of the commerce ecosystem, owning payment capabilities such as card processing, digital wallets, stored value (gift cards), and vendor-integrated payment flows operating at enterprise scale.
The Product Manager will own payment initiatives end-to-end—from requirements definition through delivery, coordination with engineering teams and external partners (processors, gateways, wallet providers, and POS vendors), to post-launch stabilization and optimization.
This role is ideal for a payments product leader who thrives in high-volume transactional environments, excels at vendor orchestration, and is focused on delivery reliability and measurable business impact. It plays a key role in reducing execution risk during periods of high concurrency across payment reliability initiatives, partner integrations, and platform migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Delivery & Program Execution
- Own execution of assigned payment initiatives across in-store, mobile, and web platforms.
- Translate business, treasury, and technology requirements into clear product requirements, including technical feasibility, analytics, accessibility, and operational readiness.
- Manage end-to-end delivery lifecycle from discovery through launch and post-launch stabilization .
- Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent payment work streams.
- Serve as the primary product interface for payment vendors and partners, including processors, gateways, wallet providers, and POS vendors.
- Define and drive clarity on scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations with external partners.
- Support standardization of onboarding, change management, and escalation processes across vendors.
- Ensure all vendor deliverables align with internal priorities, governance, and operational requirements.
- Partner with Design, Engineering, Tech Ops, Security, Treasury, Finance, Legal, Brand, and Digital Product teams.
- Provide clear direction and prioritization support to Tech Ops for payment-related initiatives.
- Participate in working sessions to align on tradeoffs, sequencing, and delivery constraints.
- Ensure payment solutions are delivered with clear acceptance criteria, monitoring, and rollback plans.
- Track and communicate delivery status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Drive improvements in reliability, consistency, and operational efficiency across payment flows.
- Use data to evaluate prioritization, adoption, performance, and revenue/cost impact.
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in payments, fintech, or digital commerce.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Strong experience with payment systems including processors, gateways, digital wallets, gift cards, or similar transactional platforms .
- Familiarity with fraud prevention, compliance, and payment reliability concepts.
- Hands-on experience writing epics and user stories, and leading Agile ceremonies using tools such as Jira.
- Proven experience working with external vendors and managing cross-organizational execution.
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in QSR, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or large-scale consumer platforms.
