Oracle Developer

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our team to convert an existing C++ calculation engine into PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle-based systems critical to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality Oracle applications.
• Analyze user requirements and convert them into database design.
• Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Perform database tuning and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver business solutions.
• Ensure data security, backup, and recovery strategies are in place.

Essential Skills:

• PL/SQL:
  Proficient in efficient, secure, and portable code within the Oracle database environment.
• Oracle Security:
  Experienced with Oracle security, privileges, and permissions.
• SQL Tuning:
  Able to optimize SQL queries for performance.
• Data Modeling:
  Understands data warehouse concepts and able to model data effectively.
• Other Programming:
  Experience with C++ is a plus.
